DRUG FACTS - iodex REGULAR (brown label)

Iodex when in contact with body tissues in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions gradually releases iodine and inhibits the growth and action of bacteria and thus promotes healing. Iodex helps prevent infection in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions.

Directions: Cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Apply product and rub until color disappears. If area is too tender, apply freely and cover with a light loose bandage.

Ingredients:
Active - Iodine 4.7%;
Inactive - Oleic Acid, Paraffin, Petrolatum

Warnings: For external use only. Ask doctor before use if you have deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. When using this product, do not apply to large areas of the body; do not use tight or air-excluding bandage; do not get into eyes or mucous membranes. Stop use and ask doctor if: the redness, irritation, swelling or pain persists or gets worse; an infection occurs; the condition does not improve within 7 days. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance, or contact a poison control center immediately.

Also, when in contact with body tissues in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions Iodex gradually releases iodine and inhibits the growth and action of bacteria and thus promotes healing. Iodex helps prevent infection in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions.

Directions: Adults and children 16 years of age and older - Apply product and rub until color disappears. If area is too tender, apply freely and cover with a light loose bandage. For younger children: consult your physician.

Inactive - Oleic Acid, Paraffin, Petrolatum

Warnings: For external use only. Do not use otherwise than directed. When using this product, do not get into eyes or mucous membranes, do not apply over large areas of the body and do not use tight or heavy air-excluding bandage. Stop use and ask doctor if excessive irritation on the skin develops. The condition persists or gets worse. The condition does not improve within 7 days.
